Roberts Newby celebrate 20th anniversary

Thursday 15th September saw over 150 people descend on the Bull Hotel in Gerrards Cross to join Simon Roberts and the team at Roberts Newby in celebrating the 20th anniversary of the business.

Clients, local business people and staff enjoyed a champagne receptionaccompanied by a jazz band and were treated to a display of photographs of the firm and its people from throughout its20 year history.

Founder Giles Newby was present to hear Managing Director Simon Roberts give a moving speech in which he thanked everyone for their part in helping the business develop to its market leading and multi award winning position today. He also recounted a few amusing anecdotes from his years in estate agency.

Roberts Newby operate from offices in Gerrards Cross and Chalfont St Giles and provide a full range of residential property services including sales, lettings and management, auctions, mortgages and overseas property.

Simon Roberts is under no illusions that the success of the company is down to the dedication, hard work and commitment of what he describes as "The finest estate agency team in the country bar none."

Simon says: "At Roberts Newby we have always looked to stand out from the estate agency crowd with our distinctive brand and colour scheme and our innovative marketing which now includes web TV, a smartphone app, Spot ID text messaging, the use of QR codes as well as the use of traditional marketing and media.

However, the thing that I believe really makes us stand out is the exceptional talent of the team, many of whom have worked with me for many years. The sole focus of our business is to get the best results for our clients and to do soin a friendly, enthusiastic and professional fashion. I am delighted that many of our clients have become personal friends and have joined us to celebrate our 20th anniversary."

Never one to stand still, Simon Roberts is continuing to invest in the business witha refurbishment of the Gerrards Cross office about to take place and the recently opened Chalfont St Giles office going from strength to strength.
